SocialMarks is an iPhone app that saves posts and links from any app and reads them for you. It looks at the caption, the audio and the video itself, then turns each save into something you can use: a recipe with ingredients and steps, places pinned on a map, an event for your calendar, or a searchable note in a collection. It is free to use, with no ads and no account needed.
You save the recipe, the restaurant, the city guide. Then you never find them again, or you find a 60-second video you have to rewatch with a pen. SocialMarks is for people who save a lot on their phone: home cooks, travelers, shoppers, students and anyone whose “saved” folder has turned into a junk drawer.

Private by design
No ads and no account needed. Your library is stored on your iPhone, your location never leaves your phone, and Vault items are encrypted and open only with Face ID or Touch ID. SocialMarks reads a post with AI only after you agree, and saving still works if you say no. Read the privacy policy.
Free and Pro
SocialMarks is free to use, with a weekly number of saves and collections. SocialMarks Pro is an optional weekly, monthly or yearly subscription that removes those limits, reads more of what you save each month, and adds Ask Your Library (ask a question and get an answer from your own saves), iCloud sync, export and advanced sort and filter. The yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers.

- In Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or Safari, tap Share and choose SocialMarks.
- Open the app: your save is already read and sorted as a recipe, a place or a note, ready to search.

Do I need an account?
No. You can start saving right away without signing up. Signing in with Apple or Google is optional.

Any app with a Share button. SocialMarks recognizes Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Facebook, Threads, X, Reddit, LinkedIn, Spotify, Google Maps, Amazon, Etsy, Medium, Goodreads and Airbnb, and it saves any other web link too.
Is SocialMarks available on Android?
Not yet. SocialMarks is available for iPhone and iPad on the App Store and needs iOS 17 or later.
How is SocialMarks different from browser bookmarks or a read-later app?
Bookmarks and read-later apps store a link. SocialMarks reads what is inside the post, including the audio and video, so you get the recipe, the places or the key details back without rewatching the video.
